Sacrifice: Japan's Final Tactic
Japan was not going down without a fight, and proceeded in doing so through the use of Kamikaze. This translates to "Spirit Wind" in Japanese. The goal of a Kamikaze pilot was to crash his plane, filled with explosives of some sort, into a battleship or some other target, effectively making it a pilot-guided missile. Though used throughout the war, the biggest organized kamikaze attack would be at the Battle of Okinawa.
