Going Down with a Fight: The Battle of the Bulge
In a dramatic close to finish World War 2, the Allied forces drove into Germany, riding high through the winter. Hitler sent his remaining forces to repeat history for the fourth time by using a tested tactic: splitting the opposing forces up at that particular portion of land. Thankfully for the Allies, General Patton recognized this, and was able to turn his forces to a better ground for the ongoing battle. The end result was an Allied victory, but not at a hefty cost. Over 90,000 Allied troops were lost. In the end, it would be the last German stand as the Allies pushed farther inwards towards Hitler.
