Meanwhile in Germany: The Holocaust
During the stretch of events leading up and through World War 2, Hitler had convinced the "master race" of Germans that there was one people to blame for their problems, that being the Jews. After the Nazi Party used "Kristallnacht" as a spark for the German people, things took off from there. Throughout this time, stretching roughly fifteen years, the Jews were persecuted and killed, if not worse. Some were ordered to concentration camps, and still others were subjected to horrendous and unimaginable medical experiments. The generally agreed total of Jewish population killed during the Holocaust rests around five to six million.
